What does “Domaine” mean?
The name “Domaine” found on the bottles of our wines signifies that our wines are exclusively made from grapes grown and harvested on our property. These grapes were made into wine, aged, then bottled on our vineyard. The designation is made only by a vignoble, or an estate owner-winemaker. Independent growers, they have a dealer number that shows that the grapes for the Armagnac are grown and produced on the domaine, distinguishing them from a wine trader or cooperative. “Domaine” is used for products that cannot benefit from an AOC designation.
